Did Kussmaul Gallery close or change ownership?

It didn't close — well only for a few weeks while we changed hands. Kussmaul is now locally owned by Jamie Jolly, and her daughter Jordan who took over the shop in 2026. It's still the same corner of Broadway Granville has known since 1987 — just under new ownership, with a new direction.

Why does the store still have the same name?

The Kussmaul name has been part of Broadway for almost 40 years, and it felt right to keep it rather than start over with something unfamiliar. What's changing is what's inside — not what it's called.

When did Kussmaul's ownership change?

Kussmaul re-opened under new ownership with a Re-Grand Opening on Friday, September 25, 2026.

What does Kussmaul sell now?

Kussmaul has moved from a gallery-and-framing focus to a curated home & gift shop — tabletop, seasonal decor, jewelry, and baby gifts, handbags, and more. We will have a lot you have seen before and our own curated finds as well. You'll find Vietri and Nora Fleming in rotation, along with Mosser glass in an expanding range of colors.

4 Do you still have the flower cooler?

Yes — the walk-in flower cooler is still stocked with fresh, grab-and-go blooms, now supplied by our friends at Village Flower Basket.

Is this a totally different store?

The feel is different — slightly edited, a little more home-and-gift than gallery — but it's still Kussmaul, with the exposed brick, beautiful glass pieces, and on the same stretch of Broadway, carrying the same name forward.

That was the whole idea — keep what made this corner of Broadway worth stopping into, and build on it.
